Dr. Burke is board certified and has been recognized as one of the “Top Docs” in the “Phoenix Magazine”, “101 Magazine”, and the “Ranking Arizona Annual Report”, and as a “Best Doctor in America.”
She earned her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed her residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center. She has been practicing in the valley since 1990. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.

Kara Decker is a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She received both her Bachelors in nursing and Doctor in Nursing Practice with a focus in pediatric primary care from the University of Missouri. Kara’s nursing experience comes from caring for families and infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As a Phoenix native, she enjoys hiking and walks with her husband, new baby, and dogs – Winston & Wrigley.

Dr. Gonzalez is board certified in Pediatrics. He has been practicing General Pediatrics in a single specialty group practice in Scottsdale Arizona since 1993. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. He completed his residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center/New York University Medical program where he was chief resident and was given the distinguished Mario Merlino, M.D. award for most outstanding resident.
He has been involved with the Arizona Chapter of the AAP in several positions of leadership. Which include: The Medical Home Project Co-Chair, C.A.T.C.H Facilitator, Secretary, Vice-President and President. He has been a Community Clinical Preceptor for Phoenix Children’s Hospital, he was actively involved with the Partnership for a Drug Free America and was appointed by former AZ Governor Janet Napolitano’s to serve on the First Things First Board. He was an active member of the Real Arizona Coalition S.A.N.E. Program for U.S. Immigration Reform lead by The Honorable Sandra Day O’Connor, Former Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.
He has been recognized as one of the “Top Docs” by Ranking Arizona Annual Report, “Best Doctors in America”, “Best Pediatrician in Scottsdale, AZ” and “Best Pediatrician in the Valley” two years in a row by Arizona Foothills Magazine. He has been featured on AAP News, CNN, The Arizona Republic, ABC15 News, Raising AZ Kids and most recently lectured in Cancun, Mexico on ‘The Health Problem of the Migrant Child” he is also a Father of 3 grown daughters.

Dr. Kanagal is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been practicing in Phoenix since 1993, treating newborns, children and adolescents. She received her pediatric training at Bangalore Medical College in India and Central Texas Medical Foundation in Austin.
She has been recognized as one of the “Best Doctors in America” by Consumer Reports. She has also been recognized by “101 Magazine” as one of the “Top Docs”. She has been on multiple committees at Scottsdale Healthcare-Shea. She is fluent in many Indian languages. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 sons.

Dr. Katie Norris is an Arizona native. She graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in history, and earned her medical degree from Midwestern University in Glendale. She completed her pediatric residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center. Dr. Norris is passionate about the overall wellness of all children and is particularly interested in breastfeeding medicine, obesity prevention, and allergies/asthma. She enjoys hiking, biking, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and daughter. Her hobbies include reading and baking delicious treats for her friends and family.

Dr. Patel is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Patel is relatively new to the Phoenix area, relocating from Washington DC where she completed her undergraduate education, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion at George Washington University and her pediatric residency training at Children’s National Medical Center. In between her time in Washington DC, she lived in Nashville, earning her Doctorate of Medicine at Meharry Medical College. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their son, hiking, and traveling.

Dr. Roehr is an Arizona native and grew up in the Scottsdale area. She graduated from Barrett Honors College at ASU with her bachelor’s degree in biology. She then attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine in downtown Phoenix, where she fell in love with pediatric medicine. After completing her residency training at the University of Arizona in Tucson, she decided it was time to return to her hometown of Scottsdale where much of her family still resides. In addition to family connections, she loves Phoenix for its sunny days, gorgeous sunsets, and endless activities. In her free time, Dr. Roehr enjoys creating new adventures with her husband and young son.

Dr. Trompeter earned her medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia and completed her pediatric residency at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center through the University of Connecticut. She is passionate about preventive medicine, healthy growth and development, and joint decision making with parents and families. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, baby, and dogs.
